Location is away from the central part, which means you might feel distant from some attractions. WiFi is inadequate with a frustrating limit of 1GB per day, making it hard to stay connected. Ventilation in the room can be a real issue on hot days, heating things up like a furnace while single glazed windows do little to regulate temperature. The menu lacks variety and quality, leading to disappointing meals.

my stay was delightful, as the hotel is just a short walk from the stunning Dunedin Botanic Garden and the exciting Toitu Otago Settlers Museum, giving me plenty of options for leisurely strolls and exploring local history. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the service was efficient and friendly, which made the experience even better.

The room was clean and spacious, which made our stay super comfortable. 🌼 The gardens surrounding the hotel were a delightful touch! Just a bummer that the bathroom could use an extractor fan.

Just a fine choice for a lightning stop in Dunedin with fantastic value for money. The battered fish at dinner was the best I've tasted in New Zealand. Try to ask for a room on the quieter side.

The Superior Twin Room was pretty nice. The clean vibe stood out, and the garden view was a bonus! But, wow, it was a bummer not having a toaster. Dinner was way delayed at the restaurant, and we had to climb two flights of stairs to get to our room, which wasn't ideal. Still, the comfy beds made our stay pleasant enough.

We loved the spacious room and the friendly staff really made us feel at home. Access to the lovely gardens was a nice bonus 🌸. Room service was attentive and prompt.
